¿Dot-com-dot-pa?
Timmers(R) TPX navigates worldwide flying the flag of Panama. But actually keeps office in the Netherlands. What makes ‘dot com dot pa’ merely a flag of convenience...
Timmers(R) TPX designs, develops and publishes Web sites.
Timmers(R) TPX is mostly me, Rob Timmers, I design Web sites.
The combination of design, technique and maximum precision always has been my strength. In my work for the Web this adds up to clean, aesthetic design with a focus on usable interfaces.
Before I fell for the World Wide Web I worked in print design.
I have always had a great deal of passion for what I do, I think that’s reflected in my work — in my attention to detail, in getting every pixel in its place.
This Web site showcases a selection of my work.
Check out Timmers(R) TPX for hand-crafted pixels and text — custom solutions using Web standards.
I am a Photoshop ACE and proficient in other Adobe design tools, like Illustrator and Dreamweaver (code view, mind you).
My Web design lays on solid, cross-browser, W3C compliant code. Talking Web standards here. All tableless — unless the site actually shows tabular data. All liquid if desired. And I keep content (markup), presentation (styles) and behavior (scripts) conveniently separated.
I have profound expertise in hand coding XHTML and CSS. I am comfortable with JavaScript (DHTML). I know enough of PHP / MySQL for a front-end designer to make it spiff up a front-end’s usability.
Design firms can hire my services on a temporary basis. If you think I could be the right man for your project, please don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail.
